vday!

i LOVE valentine's day.

not because i had a valentine this year (or last year...or the year before that...but whatever), but just because there is so much love in the air...

i'm not just talking about the pairs of lovers that i saw as i walked with a girlfriend kind of around philly. i'm talking about the candy that got left on everyone's door in my hall; the flowers and blahblah-grams that got delivered as surprises from friends; the songs that people put up on their statuses as cute valentine's day songs; the packages that get sent from home with tons of chocolate and love inside (mom/dad...if you're reading this, HOW COME I DIDN'T GET ONE HUH??).

honestly, the thing i hate the most about valentine's day is the PINKNESS that fills the earth, cause i am not a huge fan of the color pink. but other than that...

seriously, though, there's so much love that floats around on valentine's day that's not just limited to couples. everything is so CUTIEPIE!!! significant others, friends, family, puppies, kitties....valentine's day is so beautiful cause there are so many people that could be your valentine :)remember how special it felt to take home your shoe box full of valentines in third grade and count every little card you got? even though most of them just say your name, i liked just having this pile of cards to look through.
