door

this is something i've been meaning to write about FOREVER, and i just kept forgetting to!

so there's this guy who lives in my dorm who ALWAYS holds the door open for people. even if someone is like, a bazillion steps away, if he sees them coming, he will just stand there and hold the door open for them.

i can't stress like the word ALWAYS. i have never seen him just go through the doors if he sees someone is coming. no matter who it is - faculty, staff, students, boy, girl, young, old, whatever - he's always there.

the fact that someone is willing to take that extra few seconds out of their day and wait there as you walk - i think that's SO nice.

definitely puts a smile on my face whenever it happens...thank you! :) :)
